2. A Moment for Yourself Each Day
In today’s busy world, it’s more important than ever to take a moment for yourself.
Whether you’re taking a few minutes to relax and rejuvenate or seizing the opportunity to pursue your passions, it’s essential to make time for yourself.
And what better way to do that than with a moment of mindfulness?
Mindfulness is all about being present in the moment and focusing on your breath.
It is a form of meditation that can be practiced anywhere, at any time.
There are many benefits to mindfulness, including reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.
Mindfulness breathing techniques:
One of the best ways to be mindful is to focus on your breath.
Taking slow, deep breaths can help to relax your body and clear your mind.
Here are a few breathing techniques that you can use to help you be more mindful.
- Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Breathe in for a count of four and out for a count of eight.
- Breathe in and out at a steady pace.
- Breathe in and hold your breath for a count of four, then out for a count of eight.
There are many different breathing techniques that can be used for mindfulness.

3. Establishing and Maintaining Good Relationships
Building and maintaining good relationships is essential for both our personal and professional lives.
Good relationships can help us feel happier and more fulfilled, and can also lead to success in our careers.
There are a few key things to remember if you want to build good relationships.
- First, it’s important to be a good listener. Really listen to what the other person is saying and try to understand their point of view.
- Second, it’s important to be honest and open with the other person. Be genuine in your interactions and be yourself.
- Lastly, remember to show appreciation for the other person. Thank them for their time and effort, and let them know that you value their friendship or partnership.
By following these simple tips, you can start to build strong, lasting relationships that will improve your life in many ways.
4. The Importance of Meal Planning and Prepping
One of the best ways to save time and money, and to eat healthier, is to meal plan and prep.
When you take the time to plan out your meals and prep ahead of time, you can make cooking and eating healthy meals much easier.
Not to mention, you’ll also save money by not eating out as often.
- Start small by meal prepping one meal a week, and gradually increase as you get more comfortable with the process.
There are plenty of resources and tips available online to help you get started.
With a little bit of effort, you can make meal planning and prepping a part of your weekly routine.
5. Letting Go of Perfection
Perfectionism is often lauded as a positive quality.
But, when it comes to motherhood, perfectionism can be a destructive force.
Trying to be the perfect mother can lead to feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, and stress.
It can also make you miss out on enjoying the messy, beautiful, imperfect reality of motherhood.
So how can you let go of perfectionism and embrace the chaos of motherhood:
- Recognize that there is no such thing as a perfect mother. Every mother is different and uniquely, made for their family.
- Cut yourself some slack. Allow yourself to make mistakes and be imperfect.
- Remember that your children are also imperfect. They will make mistakes and they will be messy. And that’s okay!
6. Managing Your Time Efficiently
As a mother, you are juggling a lot of different balls.
You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing, as well as the health and wellbeing of your family.
You are also responsible for managing the household, running errands, and maybe even working outside the home.
All of this can be overwhelming, but it is possible to manage your time effectively and still have a life outside of motherhood.
Here are a few tips to help you manage your time:
1. Make a schedule and stick to it. Having a set schedule will help you stay on track and avoid getting overwhelmed.
2. Learn to delegate. You can’t do everything yourself, so delegate tasks to other family members or hire a babysitter/nanny to help out.
3. Take breaks. Breaks are essential for avoiding burnout.

7. Saying “No” More Often
If you’re a mother, you’ve probably experienced the struggle of trying to set boundaries.
You want to be there for your kids, but sometimes you need to take care of yourself first. But how?
Here are some tips for creating boundaries and saying no:
- Be clear about your limits. When you know your personal and professional limits, it’s easier to set boundaries.
- Be assertive. Be direct and firm when communicating your boundaries.
- Be consistent. Once you’ve set a boundary, stick to it.
- Be prepared. Have a plan for how you will respond if someone tries to push your boundaries.
- Remember that “No” is a full sentence and no further statement or explanation is required of you.
8. Connecting with your husband
We know that being a mom is the toughest job in the world.
You’re juggling all sorts of things, from your kids to your career to your husband, and you’re doing it all with grace and poise.
But what we don’t often talk about is how busy life can be for your husband, too.
It’s easy to get caught up in our own daily lives and forget about the needs of our partners.
And when you’re both so busy, sometimes it’s even harder to find time to connect with each other on a deeper level—especially when you have kids who need attention too!
But there are ways to make time for yourselves and each other no matter how busy life gets.
Here are some tips for connecting with your husband when life is busy:
- Schedule at least one date night each week
- Make sure to spend time together as a family, even if it’s just cuddling on the couch and watching a movie
- Make time for a “date” in the morning before everyone else wakes up
- Invite him to breakfast in bed, or vice versa (it doesn’t have to be extravagant; cereal would work)
- Have some fun at home—play board games or do a puzzle together after the kids go to bed.
9.Connecting with your kids:
You’re tired. You’re busy. And you have so many things to do that sometimes it feels like there’s no time for anything else—especially connecting with your kids.
But we can’t let that happen! I know how important it is to make time for the people we love, and that includes our children.
Here are a few tips for making sure you stay connected even when life gets crazy:
1. Be there for bedtime stories—even if you’re tired!
2. Play “What would you do if/ would you rather…” games after dinner instead of TV or phone time
4. Plan activities together on weekends (hiking, going to amusement parks).
10. Invest in yourself and your future!
Moms, I cannot stress this enough.
Invest in your health, invest in your peace, invest in your future.
This does not necessarily mean money.
- Listen to podcasts about creating a business.
- Watch Ted-talks to learn and be inspired in life.
- Take a course on Udemy.
- Learn how to blog and create profitable income.
- Set SMART goals and start buckling down on debt.
This is a habit that should be done daily.
Invest in the things that will grow in the future, in YOUR future.
You’ve got this mama.
Start TODAY. Don’t look back in 10 years and WISH “I coulda, woulda, shoulda”.
in the words of Nike, “JUST DO IT.”
